Gastritis: The high white count and pelvic fluid makes one think of the possibility of peritonitis.Take your child to the er asap for further evaluation.

Took 12 yr old son to ER for stabbing pain in lower left abdomen. Found his WBC 19, 000, pelvic fluid and gastritis. Why pelvic fluid? Doc didn't know.
What would cause a rapid onset lymph nodes swelling under the jaw and both sides of face if all labs, tests, x-ray, CT & numbers are normal? (WBC, hemoglobin, neg for pathogens, comorbidities [in this order] of colitis, gastritis and esophagitis.)
Wbc's in urine no bladder infection or uti, cystoscopy/ cultures showed nothing, CT scan with contrast only saw small pelvic fluid im in no pain help
