I have pain meds oxycodone 5mg but not helping after 2.. when to go to er for crohn's pain? i sometimes go but lab's end up normal even ct..

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need continuous care: If you know you have crohn's disease, you need routine care from a doctor (primary or gi). Serious pain could indicate a stricture (narrowing) of the intestine or even a perforation. Don't just take pain meds, as these will only hide the problem. Please see your doctor soon, and avoid trips to the er. Your other meds may need to be changed or increased.
