A member asked:

Dr. diagnosed me with crohn's since 2009. c-reactive protein normal every time lab was taken. is this really crohn's with a normal crp over 10 times?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Normal CRP does not exclude Crohn's. The two common markers of inflammation, CRP and Sed Rate do not always rise in concert. In some cases only one marker is elevated despite well documented inflammation. You may read this article: Adv Biol Chem: 2014; 4:5-9
