Yes it will show up: It's metabolized by the liver, so drinking water won't affect it. The bigger question is why a 28-year-old is taking 30mg of oxycodone. There are very few legitimate reasons for that to happen. Unfortunately too many physicians prescribe high doses of narcotics for reasons that are not supported scientifically. We do know for sure that it puts you at significant risk for accidental death.
