I was on trazodone for sleep for 11 years and have been off it almost 4 months. i still have occasional trouble falling and staying asleep. is this common? how long will it take my body to adjust?

Don't know what the: Underlying sleep problem was - but if this is still an issue than the issues falling asleep are understandable. How good is your sleep hygiene? 1. Keep regular bed ; wakening time (includes weekends). Get up same time daily. 2. Make a regular, relaxing bedtime routine: warm bath or shower, aromatherapy, reading, or listening to gentle music. 3. Sleep in dark, quiet, cool room w comfortable >.

Yes because crutch t: Your body became needy re trazadone. Technically shoiuld have adjusted by now. If intervals between sleepi issue increasing in time , this could indicste some hope. Is frquency sane now as pre trazadone? This could indicate you are reverting to your prior "normll state.
