It is not a lymph no: Lymph nodes are not located outside of the groins, so unless your scar is close to the groin, it is not a lymph node. Anything tender suggests inflammation/infection. Sometimes older retained stitches can become inflamed. You should go see your doctor who did the c-section and get medical help/advise. It is nothing serious, yet it needs medical attention.
