Fever: See a doctor for a throat culture to make sure you dont has a strep test take Ibuprofen for pain relief in the meantime.

Tonsillitis: For relief salt and warm water gargles help. Some otc pain meds like Ibuprofen can help. But one needs to make sure it is not bacterial tonsillitis that needs antibiotics.
