I am currently suffering from severe tonsils on both sides of my throat, dry nostrils and a sore throat and bit of fever, this started 3 days back but got worse last night any advice?

Tonsillitis: Tonsillitis may be caused by a viral infection or by strep. The latter, if present, should be treated with antibiotics. The former should not. A rapid throat culture should be performed to determine whether there is a strep infection.

Fever: If there is a fever, please see your Physician for testing. Strep, viral illness or an abscess may be one of several causes. Drink fluids,rest and lozenges.
