Not cause: The antibiotic will not cause a toothache. If you have a bad tooth, it can become symptomatic at any time. You have just been lucky that it did not hurt you prior to this time. May the pain from the other issue way distracting you from your tooth pain. See your dentist.

Not related: Very unlikely that the Amoxicillin caused the toothache. You say the tooth was already bad, so probably just a coincidence. Continue the antibiotic and see your dentist.
