I am on day 3 of 5 day amoxicillin course (500mg x 3 daily). dentist couldn't see me so prescribed based on what i described over the phone (sore wisdom tooth) i'm terrified of c diff. can't stop thinking about it. what are my chances of getting it?

C diff: Your chances are very, very small. No need to be terrified. The wisdom tooth infection needs to be treated and antibiotics are the way to do it. Not treating the infection can allow it to expand and cause more serious medical problems, and in the end higher and longer doses of antibiotics to control the infection.
