Infection: From your description, it seems you may have an infection. This can be serious. You need to see a dentist for an evaluation.

Get it checked: Regardless of what stage of treatment you are at, any level of swelling is not "normal". Whether you are not on antibiotics or not, it would be best to contact your treating dentist for specific professional advise with your condition. Can become a life threatening infection that spreads into areas like the brain.

Swollen face: This can be caused by several things such as swollen lymph node, salivary gland infection or stone impaction, tooth abscess etc. Only way to know for sure is by evaluation. Go see a doctor or a dentist.

See a dentist: Go to a dentist and have an x-ray taken to rule out a dental abscess.
