I had my left wisdom teeth taken out some months ago hole healed up and all of that all of a sudden the gums is hurting where my lower left wisdom tooth use to be and it swollen even the left side of my face is swollen what is going on

Swelling, pain: May be residual infection and/or problem with the tooth (2nd molar) in front of the wisdom tooth's position. Immediately return to the General Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon, the practitioner that knows your situation best. He/she will have x-rays of the area which an be compared with current films.
