Rest and bracing: Sorry to hear about your ankles. Because you're a skier, you're considered a high impact athlete and the hardest thing for athletes to do is to rest. You may need bracing, rest, icing, possible physical therapy. Of course, getting it checked is best, but if not, try those out. Good luck!

Do boots fit?: From the perspective of a ski patroller/physician, my first thought is that your ski boots may not fit! If you have skied for many years its unlikely that you have a structural prob with the ankle than doesn't tolerate skiing---unless there was a recent specific injury.
