What tooth?: If it' same baby tooth, it's ok to help it out. If it' same permanent tooth, your friend may have a serious problem. Have her call her dentist for examination and advice.

No problem: She can remove it just like any other baby tooth. No problem. But it is a problem of it is a permanent tooth.

Depends: If the tooth is a baby tooth, it is probably ok to remove the tooth on your own, but if there is potentially part of the root in the bony, it is better to have it x-rayed and have the dentist perform the extraction.
