Mr. Procrastinator: Good day; What prevented you from contacting dentist who placed filling 2 years ago! Possibly the tooth seems to have abscessed - may require require root canal treatment and not need to be extracted. if you weren't pleased with that dentist try another one ASAP.

Access: An abscess is a severe infection that can damage other organ systems. It requires immediate treatment. If you do not wish to return to the Dentist that treated you years ago, find another one for appropriate care. If a single tooth is removed and not replaced in will result in a cascade of extensive and expensive problems. Please seek quality care, not bargains.
