Hg Controversy: The merits vs. The issues of hg fillings has waged many years & can't be resolved here. It is known that you are exposed to more hg from having fillings with it removed so if they are solid, keep them. All dentists should know the safety concerns to follow during removeal should that be needed - ask & if you are not satisfied go to someone else. Learn more at www.Ada.Org & search mercury fillings.

No danger: Amalgam fillings have mercury in small amounts that have been found not to be harmful.Miss-information is all around and if dangerous the fda would have stopped the mercury content. Best fillings in back teeth are the amalgam because they are stronger for esthetics composite(white) fillings are used on any teeth.
