No danger: Amalgam fillings have mercury in small amounts that have been found not to be harmful.Miss-information is all around and if dangerous the fda would have stopped the mercury content. Best fillings in back teeth are the amalgam because they are stronger for esthetics composite(white) fillings are used on any teeth.
