For what?: These tests provide different information and have different indications. Stress tests are to look for evidence to support a diagnosis of symptomatic blocked coronary arteries. Holtor is used to evaluate for dysthymia. Echocardiogram is useful to look at the heart valves and other features. Choosing the right test depends on what symptoms you are having. Discuss this with your doctor.
