See Dentist again: I'm not sure from your statement if the root canal therapy was completed or not. Either way, if there is a drainage area above the tooth and it is not going away after having the root canal therapy done then you need to inform your dentist of this. He will be able to x-ray and diagnose what further therapy may be needed.

Return to the dentis: The endodontics was either not completed, or the infection has returned. The treated teeth should have been restored properly after the treatment, and it seems as if that was not the case. You must go to the dentist to treat the infection.
