Call: It's always best to call the dentist (or physician) actually treating you for advice. Having said that, until then, avoid eating on that tooth, especially hard foods. Also keep that area especially clean so food debris does not collect in the hole.

Possibly: if only a part of the temporary came out, there is still a seal and no problem. If you taste medication, then call your dentist and get it replaced.

Seal: To be successful root canal has to be sealed at both ends, top & bottom. If part of sealing material comes out root canal can become recontaminated. Call the treating Dentist or specialist Endodontist and ask their advice.
