A member asked:

If i was born jaundice and seem to have gilbert systems could this be related? all results are normal.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gilbert's syndrome: It is not uncommon for babies without gilbert's syndrome to be born with temporary jaundice that is not harmful as it clears as soon as the liver function becomes more efficient. Gilbert's syndrome usually manifests it self a little later in life and is also harmless. I don't know if your jaundice at birth was the former or the latter, but either way you should be fine.
