See below...: Even though there is an association, the vast majority of children and teenagers with infectious mononucleosis never develop lymphoma. If that happens, it's usually years after. Other signs include unexplained weight loss, night sweats, loss of appetite, fatigue, etc. If you are still worried, consulting your pediatrician is recommended.
