A member asked:

Brain tumour what is typical survival rate for a man (aged 40) with a grade 2 tumour in the temporal lobe that has recurred 3 times in 9 years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: A lot depends on his tumor status now. If his tumor has been adequately excised(last time) and he has had radiotherapy, then he can live for many years. On the other hand if his tumor is growing despite these two interventions, then his survival could be compromised to a degree depending on the extent and location of the cancer as well as the pace of tumor growth. These are typically slow growing.
