My daughter is 16 months and healthy. are there any health risks for her to travel 4 times a year from italy to the united states ? vaccines are up to date and she meets all developmental milestones.

Should be safe: The only possible mitigating factor would be the closed environment in an aircraft and the potential exposure to large numbers of people, both aboard and in terminals. Sometimes children of this age may have upper respiratory (particularly eustacian tube) congestion due to the changes in ambient atmospheric pressure aboard the planes as well. Buono furtuno.

No: There are risks of common viral respiratory infections from other passengers in a tightly enclosed airline cabin. Otherwise, there are no significant risks.
