Some basics: Up to date usually means the common childhood diseases are addressed. When there is a regional issue of a particular problem, extra vaccines are often needed. If meningitis has been identified in your region as a problem, an additional meningitis vaccine will be needed since they are seldom given to kids that age. Contact a regional health department for such questions.
