Double check that an: error really occurred first. Usually doctors write for the flu shot, and the nurse, pharmacist, medical assistant or physician's assistant can give it. They usually check the preloaded syringe taking into account the weight/age specifications. If you suspect an error, contact the pediatrician ordering the meds, as the ultimate responsibility rests with her/him.
