A member asked:

My daughter is experiencing fever of 103 following one year vaccinations. what can i do to make her more comfortable? what is considered an emergency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tylenol should help: If your child has a high fever following vaccinations - it is essential to let the doctor who gave the vaccines know about it. In the mean time, you can try to help her symptoms with some Tylenol. Also, a cool damp face cloth can help if she is very uncomfortable. Fevers higher than 104 start to get concerning, because convulsions may occur at 105-106...so that to me means 'something must be done'
