My girlfriends antidepressants are not workin an her doctor said she can't go on any more and she's taking valium and wants to die please help?

If she is: Actively suicidal please take her to the nearest emergency room. If that isn't possible you can call 911 for assistance. If she has taken a valium overdose - get bottles and call 911 immediately. There are other treatments for depression besides antidepressants. If she is not seeing a psychiatrist - would recommend that highly. Take care.

TMS or ECT: An excellent non pharmacologic treatment treatment is transcranial magnetic stimulation. Look up rtms, dtms, brainsway, magstim, neuronetics devices that are available and might be used by psychiatrists in the uk (i know that magstim is available in the uk.) also another option is electroconvulsive therapy ect.
