No: Those are not the ideal meds for insomnia. Consider time release melatonin, and explore sleep hygiene. Also aerobic exercise. Consider that a methylation insufficiency may be adding to the problem. Consider testing for mthfr and comt genes. Cut back on caffeine. Avoid alcohol before bedtime. Ambien, (zolpidem) or even Remeron may keep you asleep longer.
