Dental X-rays : Regarding dental x-rays, your dentist will first of all need your parent's consent before treating you. Secondly diagnostic x-rays are done for a specific reason and not randomly. If your dentist has a concern based on your symptoms and the exam shows a need then x-rays may be taken.

No: See my last answer to you a few moments ago. Xrays are for diagnostics only and are not to be used willy nilly as they are a form of radiation. These days we all want to keep our exposure to a minimum.
