Thrombocytosis: Reactive thrombocytosis can result from iron deficiency anemia. If extremly high may lead to thrombosis. The elevated platelets usually will resolve with correction of iron def anemia.

See hematologist : See hematologist first to evaluate why your platelets are high. 1 baby Aspirin per day is unlikely to hurt you, but increase your menstrual bleed. I would first recommend finding causes for your anemia and elevated platelets.
