What could it mean when you have a uti , but no symptoms?

Generally not much: What you describe is asymptomatic bacteriuria. This is a case where bacteria have colonised the lower urinary system, but are not causing symptoms. In most cases it does not need to be treated. Exceptions can include pregnant women and those with diabetes as well as some other situations.
