I took plan b a week ago and i'm now spotting, and two days ago i started having really bad uti symptoms. could this mean the plan b didn't work?

Spotting could be: a side effect. If there is a UTI it should not be due to Plan B. Potential side effects w emergency contraception includes menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period), nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue, headache, breast tenderness & abdominal pain or cramps. Take pregnancy test & notify dr if your period is 7 or > days late.
