See answer: I am not convinced that you have a UTI unless a urine culture has been done to verify it. A urinalysis alone would not be adequate and likely inaccurate given your description of vulva and vaginal redness and burning which is more consistent with a vulvovaginitis and which would contaminate any voided urine sample. In general, UTI and vaginitis are separate conditions and treated differently.
