Could a person who suffers a severe stroke or an aneurysm fall into a deep coma?

Yes: Either of these problems may result in enough brain injury to produce coma. Get a neurology consultation if needed.

Yes: It is indeed possible. A stroke or an aneurysm causing damage to critical parts of the brain (brainstem, thalamus, large bilateral damage) that are responsible for arousal and sustaining consciousness can cause deep coma.
