Depends on size: It all depends on how extensive the chip is, does it involve a significant portion of the tooth, or is it just a small portion of the tooth. Dentists also vary greatly in the speed at which we practice. Some are very fast and others are slower. Call a dentist to have this evaluated and then ask the time frame and the fee to be charged.

How u want to fix it: It really depends on how you want to fix , if you want a veneer for example, it should take two visits, one to prep the tooth and take impression and the other to put it on you tooth. It's also can be fixed with bonding, that usually can be done on the same visit..
