It's difficult: You may be given deceptive information. Iron-rich spinach has it bound to phytates that make it impossible to absorb. Us government posters show beans, bread and peanut-butter as iron-rich -- they really aren't. You'll do well to supplement for iron, b12, and several others. Hopefully you have a good relationship with a physician who can make recommendations.
