Perhaps: If you have an ear infection in the setting of a hole in the eardrum, there are safe topical antibiotic eardrops that may be used to treat this. Oral antibiotics may work as well, however, but topical eardrop therapy is usually also indicated. There are some eardrops that are not safe with a hole in the eardrum, however. An ENT doctor should be able to examine and treat your condition.
