If your doctor: Thinks it is a hernia, it probably is a hernia, because hernias are usually detected on physical examination. See a surgeon for another opinion.

Hi there, Over the last 5 months I've lost around 30 lbs of weight. As my body is slimmer, I noticed a small lump in my groin area about 4/5 inches below belly button.
