I am experiencing bruising in the form of small purple dots to the left of my belly button near my hip. when i touched it, i noticed a small lump underneath- i'm wondering if it's some sort of small hernia that has caused such strange bruising. ?

Petechia: The small dots sound like a petehial rash. This can be associated with a problem with your platelets. Might be worth being seen.
