Not likely: Epilim is a seizure medicine that can do some things to blood counts, but making blood thicker is not a common effect. Other things can do that such as smoking, living at high altitudes and a condition called polycythemia ("lots of blood"). This can be hereditary but can also be caused by other things. Be sure to follow up on the blood test results to see what you should do next.

No: Thick blood when drawn into test tube does not mean anything. Just a comment. If he was talking about the results then it might mean you had a high blood count. I would need more info to comment further. Don't be afraid to ask him what he meant.
