Past three days i've been having pain below my left rib cage when i breathe, sneeze or burp. i've been taking advil (ibuprofen) but its not helping.

Fell down recently?: Did you suffer any trauma recently to the area? If so it may be from rib fracture. Occasionally violent coughing can do the same. If the problem persists or gets worse, see you doctor who may order a x-ray on that area.
