Chronic tonsillitis : It's most likely that your chronic tonsillitis is related to chronic infection in the tonsils, rather than hpv. Hpv oropharyngeal cancer would usually look very atypical on exam. This is something that should be evaluated by an ENT doctor. However, removing your tonsils would help your chronic condition and answer any concerns as the tonsils can be thoroughly evaluated.
