Spine pain: Whether this is related to your prior appendectomy or to something else is hard to say. Back pain is one of the most common issues with which primary care doctors are confronted, and sometimes it is very difficult to uncover the cause. Suggest you see your family doctor and begin there. If they cannot figure this out they may want to refer you to a back specialist.

Check Spine Bones: Sometimes when people have surgery, there can be pressure on your spine bones when you are under anesthesia. This might put them into a position that is not normal for them, possibly pinching nerves or the cushioning discs between the vertebrae. Your doctor should be made aware of this, and may recommend x-rays of your spine. Often there may have been a problem before surgery. Good luck!
