No: Eventually surgery is needed, due to risk of serious complications.But there are mild cases that when evaluated may be observed for a while with proper therapy such as antibiotics etc.

Not a good idea: Appendicitis if untreated can lead to abdominal infections and death. Please go to an urgent care center of an ed to be evaluated.
