Mild increase in: Glucose, if any at all. The injections, especially the one you had, require very little steroid and while some does spread systemically, the glucose response should be fairly minimal. If you are extra sensitive to steroid injections, you may have a mild increase in glucose over a few days, maybe up to a week. Most diabetic patients can receive these medications without needing to change meds.
