No: By definition eagle's syndrome is elongation or calcification of the styloid ligament. The condition is diagnosed by both radiographical and physical examination. The differential diagnosis for eagle syndrome is vast, largely due to the variety of symptoms that patients may experience. Rec.: see orofacial pain or ENT specialist for evaluation.
