Could be medication: Or it could be diet-related. If you've recently lost weight, for example, your diabetes may be controlled with less medication. In that case, your current medication would be too strong and possible cause hypoglycemia, even if you've eaten. Or if you've eaten foods high in carbohydrates or sugars, your blood sugar will rise, and then possible plummet later. Talk with your doctor.
