Lots of things: With diabetes & high blood pressure, eat more veggies/fruits per day (7-9 servings), lean proteins like poultry, fish, bison, lean beef, and complex grains like quinoa, brown rice, oatmeal, and multigrain breads/pastas but limit these to 2 servings/day. Lose weight so eat about 1200cal/day if female and 1600 if male: 1 600cal meal, 3 200cal snacks. Decrease the alcohol, soda. Drink water!

All except sugar: All fruits, and vegetables are fine. Some protein sources like eggs, fish, and beans are fine. A little fat from poultry, beef or pork is acceptable. What you want to avoid is salt (raises bp) and products containing sugar and corn syrup which are immediately absorbed into your blood and make your sugar sky rocket.
