nearly fainted earlier after jumping out of bed and with major bowel movement. i'm trying to get up now, feel better but a little weak. is this bad?

Not bad - be careful: You're "orthostatic" - that is, your BP drops when you fight gravity by rapidly assuming an upright position. This is always present to a small degree but becomes more pronounced after an illness, with dehydration, diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, or prolonged rest. Just go slowly till you're (literally) "back on your feet" and you'll be ok.
