A member asked:

Is it normal for a pancreas to have a slightly increased echogenicity on the ultrasound scan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Meaning?: It is really hard to know what this means. Why was this test done? Is there a history of pancreatitis? By itself, this kind of descriptor on an ultrasound means nothing unless it is correlated with clincial findings.
